Thredup- a great place to swap your children's clothes at.
A couple months back, I found a website called thredup.com. It's a website where mothers can swap their childrens clothes around. In a nutshell, you sign up, thredup sends you boxes to send you items in, you put a box of gently used clothing together, and offer it up on thredup.com, someone picks it, you print the postage and you send it to them. You do need a printer to print the postage, but it cost nothing for you to send the box. In return you get a credit of anywhere from $0-5 per box (depending on what is in the highest demand). You can then turn around and use that credit to purchase a box. Each box is $15.95. It's $5 per box plus shipping ($10.95). (Please remember that you won't always get a credit for your box.)
It's a win, win situation. You get rid of clothes that no longer fit your little Johnny or Susie, and you get to pick another box at a great price. Most boxes have in between 10-15 items per box, so that's like paying $1-1.50 per item. Not a bad deal.
You can sign up here.
Until next post,
